The third daughter of John McCance, she was born on 22 June 1825.  On 17 Sep 1846 she married George Callwell (1813-1874), son of Robert Callwell of Lismoyne, a J.P for Co Antrim.   We recently learned of two children - George Nathaniel and Joseph John McCance (1849-1892)

She died at Lismoyne on 17 Feb 1871 and was buried at Drumbeg, where there is an inscription on the Memorial erected by John McCance (b.1772).
